TRAINING FEE. Should you drop from the trip you may continue with all training hikes and privileges..

If you are not traveling with us but want to join in the local hikes and training, you participate as a Training Partner. You will have access to all the lectures, hikes, training material and coaching that our travel team enjoys.
The training schedule and hikes are designed to meet the specific needs of the destination each year. This is usually more than adequate for anyone looking to hike in other destinations. And some just love to hike and keep fit.

Use this form only if you have previously registered for a trip.
Use this form to change preferences such as roommate, trip number or for any special requests for before or during your travel.

REGISTRATION GETS YOU ON THE RIGHT TOUR LIST: The form collects necessary information for you and your
1 form for each person PAYING.
(EXAMPLE 1: John and Mary Doe use one form: John is Name 1 (paying). Mary is Name 2 on the same form)
(EXAMPLE 2: Judy Jones & Sally Smith want to room together, both pay their own way. Both must submit a form with the other listed as Roommate.)
(EXAMPLE 3: Bill Sims wants a roommate but doesn't have one. Leave it blank, we will assign if possible.)
(EXAMPLE 4: Jodi Brown wants no roommate. Under Roommate put SINGLE. (Note, S/O has a higher cost.))
Registration gets you on a candidate list of the seriously interested.
Your trip deposit sets the date and your position in the candidate queue.
Trip positions are offered starting with earliest registration dates.

Available spots fill according to date of deposit. We fill vacancies from a waiting list also by date of deposit.
To remain in good standing you must be ready to fill a vacancy. You must keep up your training and payments as if you are on the trip for sure.

If you don't get off the waitlist and on the trip all payments are 100% refunded.
($100 deposit is kept for a training fee.)
TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE
is very highly recommended to protect your investment. Life happens; if the unexpected makes you miss the trip you are reimbursed in full. Insurance can do this, Coach Gunn can't as everything is paid in advance.
Life is full of the unexpected.
Use the Drop form (button below) to drop from a trip and initiate a refund request. Refunds are time sensitive.
The form date will be used to calculate the amount that can be refunded.
Your $100 deposit is a training fee. Payments (beyond the deposit) are refunded on a sliding scale (see REFUND POLICY).
Note: Group travel require contracts and payments for ground transportation, hotels and airlines much of which cannot be refunded to Coach Gunn.]
Your deposit date sets your seniority date for preferences after the trip opens for assignments. Earliest dates get first choices. Your deposit makes you a candidate for a spot on this trip. Price and itinerary will be sent to all candidates. You will have two weeks to drop out or commit with payment. Then we will assign spots on each trip.

Changes such as: Tour dates, or same trip as others, roommate changes, or special arrangements; bed count in room, hypo allergenic, etc.

This training program prepares moderate to extreme hikers - you decide your goal.
If you need to drop from a trip your request must be in writing.
Follow up any verbal request in writing.

[Coach Gunn must pay deposits and/or progress payments to airlines,
bus companies, and hotels several months in advance. For Utah, as example, the Antelope Canyon tickets required 100% payment in 2020.]
Your $100 Trip Deposit is kept as your training fee.
Only exception is if you attended no hikes.
After trip details are published you have two weeks to drop for full refund.
All payments are refunded 100% within this 2 week period.
After this there is a sliding scale.
