"I am really fired up about my 2010 tour to Scotland! This uniquely beautiful country is truly a premier hiking destination.

After much footwork and bid letting and collecting, I am ready to take deposits and publish a tentative price. And the great news is that I feel the trip has been greatly enhanced in terms of hotel quality, flight schedules and hiking opportunities. An updated itinerary is available below.

I originally planned to limit the trip to 27 people plus myself. However, the initial response was overwhelming. After a lot of scrambling, I arranged the extra accommodations and a larger bus for 48 people. Where necessary alternate transportation will maintain our itinerary plans to hike in places not accessible to a large bus. Unfortunately, we still have some on a wait list. Scotland 2011 anyone? [Put me on the 2011 list]

The lovely heather, moors, coastline, lochs (lakes), Highlands, medieval castles and churches, cobblestone streets, one lane country roads, Highland sheep and cattle, charming villages, magical islands, warm pubs, and friendly people will make this an unforgettable experience."
