                Devil's Lake-Madison, WI Test Hike

                  May 29, 30, & 31, 2009

This is the first required Test Hike for the below the rim Grand Canyon hikers and for the Zion River Narrows 16 mile hikers.  This first qualifier hike has proven well its ability to show each hiker just where they stand in their fitness quest.  Ron will know where you stand but more important so will you.

This superb weekend adventure is open for others to join us.  The modest cost covers transportation from Niles, MI and lodging.  There may be a half dozen seats left on the bus.  Call Ron to join us, but do it now the clock is ticking!

             TEST HIKE Saturday May 30, 2009

Devil's Lake was carved out and the east and west ridges formed by the southern end of a glacier during the last ice age.  This uniquely beautiful location is left for us to enjoy.  Ron brings both his rock climbing classes and his hiking groups here to enjoy this unique and wonderful venue.  I venture to guess you too will fall in love with Devil's Lake and all it has to offer (once any Test Hike soreness is a fading memory).
