COMPUTER UPDATES

IN GENERAL IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO KEEP THESE FREE PROGRAMS UP TO DATE ON YOUR COMPUTER TO PREVENT DIFFICULTIES WITH WEB PAGES.

(These updates will self install once you OK the install of the Active X control. The Active X control is an automated utility that will handle all the details to download and then install the update/upgrade to the main program. As a security precaution you must grant permission because the Active X feature is sometimes exploited by virus makers so do not grant permission if you are not purposely installing something, such as these updates.)

VIDEO: The video uses Windows Media Player. If the video does not play and a box with a red X is visible, your Browser needs to install the Media Player add-on. In Internet Explorer 7 & 8 a yellow security bar will drop down requesting permission to install the add-on (you must touch the bar with the mouse arrow to see the download menu). Click the Refresh button or press F5, when the page refreshes look for the yellow security bar.

Or, download and install other Browser choices. Some browsers work better than others on certain web sites plus you may like their features better.
